How to Clean Sunbrella Cushion Covers

Sunbrella cushion covers – During the last year on the patio furniture has been left out, under a large pine. The sunbrella cushions are new last year, but when you look at them today, they were covered in dirt, sap, bird poop and summer food stains. All this dirt and grime has been cooked on the cushions of the sun and soaked in the midst of heavy winter rains. To say the least, we have very dirty cushions.

Mix together to form a soap and a cleaning formula with soap. Using clean Oxy we got better results than regular bleach. If possible, remove the sunbrella cushion covers before cleaning. Brush some soapy water to the sunbrella fabric. Let it soak and feel so the cleaning mixture can break dirt and stains. After fifteen minutes, immerse the brush in the cleaning solution and vigorously rub the cushions.

If the pads are not coming clean, spray the sunbrella cushion covers fabric with woolite oxy cleaning spray. After spraying, let the cushions sit for a few minutes and then rub with a bristled brush. Once the washing is complete, rinse the cushions with a hose and put them in the garage to dry. Most of the dirt will come out easy. The spots caused by the sap has gone mostly, but not quite.
