New Program Feb. 11 for Emerging Businesses
VINELAND — Current and emerging small-business owners are now being offered expanded resources to assist in growing and sustaining their businesses.
It’s all part of an offering provided by the Small Business Development Center at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in conjunction with the Vineland-Millville UEZ, the county of Cumberland and its municipalities.
This new initiative provides an additional free educational resource to Cumberland County’s small business community.
“By reading and discussing business-related books and topics,” a spokesperson explains, “entrepreneurs and small business owners can learn, strategize and develop practical skills to create and achieve their business goals while enhancing opportunities for obtaining maximum growth for their company.”
Alpha Dogs: How Your Small Business Can Become a Leader of the Pack (Donna Fenn, Collins 2005, available online and through bookstores) will be discussed at the inaugural meeting at the Vineland-Millville UEZ, 2115 S. Delsea Drive, Vineland, 6 p.m. next Thursday, Feb. 11.
