The powwow committee has started to organize this year’s powwow, which will be on June 12 & 13. We have been thinking about going back to vending our food booths in house. In order to do this, we must have volunteers to run the booths.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please call the center at 455-6910 or email powwow@nanticoke-lenape.org If you would like to volunteer at a specific food booth or if you have any suggestions, please let us know.

If we do not get enough volunteers to work the booths by April 15, we will have to seek outside Native American vendors.

Our Ways & Means Committee is again selling T-shirts and is running an art contest for the shirt’s front graphics.

If you would like to submit your artwork, please submit it to the center in an envelope labeled Artwork for Powwow T-shirt Contest. Include your name and contact information.

All artwork must be turned in by April 30.
