ADDITIONAL FLU SHOT Clinics have been scheduled 2:30-4:30 p.m. Mondays in March at the Gloucester County Department of Health, 204 E. Holly Ave., Sewell. There is no charge for the vaccines. H1N1 is open to anyone over the age of 6 months, but seasonal flu shots are open only to Gloucester County residents over the age of 6 months. Clinics will be held March 8, 15, 22, & 29. Underinsured families can contact the Gloucester Health Department’s main line at 218-4101 for a vaccination appointment or call the Gloucester County Flu Hot Line Monday thru Friday 8 a.m.-8 p.m. at 218-4141. Alternatively, residents can call the NJ H1N1 Swine Flu Hot line 9 a.m.-5 p.m. seven days a week at 1-866-321-9571.

FEDERAL INCOME Tax forms will be available at the Franklin Township Library, 1584 Coles Mill Road. Unfortunately, in an effort to cut costs, the State of New Jersey will NOT be distributing tax forms to local libraries. To assist area patrons, copy services, online tax links, and print outs options will be available at the library. Free AARP Tax Aid will also be held at the Community Center in the Library 12:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays. To make an appointment, call Barbara at 694-1234 ext. 120. VINTAGE GLASSMEN of South Jersey is on display at the Heritage Glass Museum, High & Center streets, Glassboro. BROADWAY SCHOOL of Laughs begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 17 at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman, 43 S. Broadway, Pitman. If you have a knack for humor in public speaking or have wanted to make a living in comedy here’s your chance! Popular radio personality Steve Trevelise and comedian/actor Jimmy Graham instruct classes to learn how to write your own material, work the crowd, and put together an act and more at the Broadway School of Laughs. NEWFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY is having its annual cheesecake sale just in time for the Easter Season. Make Easter dinner just a little easier by serving a delicious Cinderella cheesecake for dessert. These cheesecakes also make great gifts. Each cheesecake is all natural, pre-cut into 16 slices and weights 4.4 pounds. These cakes are frozen and packaged for the freezer. Flavors available are plain, almond amaretto, white chocolate peanut butter, Washington cherry, pineapple, eggnog, and southern pecan. Due to popular demand, samplers are offered at Easter. The samplers consist of two slices of each of the six flavors and four slices of plain.

Price is $16 each for the regular flavors and $18 for the samplers. The last order date is Tuesday, March 23, and the pick-up date is Wednesday, March 31. All orders must be picked up on March 31. To place an order call 697-0415.

ARMY NATIONAL Guard Spec. Jonathan F. Ross is returning to the U.S. after a deployment to Iraqi or Afghanistan in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom, respectively. While deployed, he was decorated with the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Commendation Medal and the Combat Action Badge for his distinguished service. He has four years of military service. He is the son of Mari L. Ross of Colts Run Road, Williamstown, and grandson of Virginia Ross of Philadelphia. Ross is a 2000 graduate of the Rittenhouse Academy, Philadelphia.
